You Are So Lucky
The Party
“You Are So Lucky” took over the historic Alder Manor in Yonkers, New York, transforming the 1.5-acre estate into a whimsical and immersive wonderland of creativity. This exclusive event brought together a collective of visionary artists, designers, and performers, each taking full advantage of the mansion's elaborate Renaissance Revival architecture and lush outdoor spaces to create a truly unforgettable experience.
The Venue: Alder Manor
Set against the stunning backdrop of the Hudson River and the Palisades, Alder Manor is a 25-room Beaux-Arts mansion originally built in 1912 for mining tycoon William Boyce Thompson. The estate's grandeur was the perfect canvas for this innovative event, with its rich history and opulent features—including a marble indoor pool, a library with gold ceilings, and an expansive garden filled with sculptures and an amphitheater.
A team of set designers, artists, and performers, along with Marcus Allen Creative collaborated to turn Alder Manor into a living work of art. Led by William Etundi Jr. and Kevin Baltick, these creatives used their distinct visions to reinvent each room and outdoor area, blurring the lines between reality and fantasy. From neon-lit hallways to lush, overgrown gardens, the event was a feast for the eyes and an inspiration for the soul.
